The Zenteno Spirit consists of the Zenteno brothers and long time band members who have performed with Roberto & Norma throughout the years. The Zenteno Spirit will continue performing Norma’s compositions and arrangements as well as showcasing their father’s influence in their music.
You never know what special guest musicians will be performing with them because Norma and Roberto used all the finest musicians Houston had to offer. Hear jazz, latin, funked-up fusion, and rock and roll, sometimes all within the span of a single blistering evening!
With their sizable inventory of Norma’s originals and their father Roberto’s influence, the group displays remarkable versatility, catering its shows to multiple audiences.
Roberto and Norma Zenteno have made the Zenteno name a Houston institution. Zenteno Spirit continues the tradition. See the Band page!

Norma Zenteno altar - Photo provided by, Agapito Sanchez. Thanks to Macario Ramirez and his lovely wife Chrissie for their gracious invitation to have Norma’s altar at their Dia De Los Muertos exhibit in 2013. Special thanks to Amanda Guimoye De Rosario for the artistic work of the altar and the beautiful painting of our sister Norma and our father Roberto Zenteno. The painting is also used on our website homepage. We would also like to thank everyone that contributed to the altar.
